Kad se male ruke slože, sve se može- Svečano otvoreno obnovljeno dječje igralište Park- Šume Mojmilo

Pretposljednji dan razmjene mladih Respect koja se održava u sklopu projekta INSIDE! podržanog od strane Europske Unije kroz program Erasmus +, u utorak 29. kolovoza svečano je održano otvorenje obnovljenog dječjeg igrališta Park- Šume Mojmilo.
Nakon deset dana sudjelovanja na raznim radionicama, te konkretnim radnim akcijama uređenja dječjeg igrališta i prostora predviđenog za košarku, nazočne mlade iz Italije, Albanije, Bosne i Hercegovine, te ostale posjetitelje pozdravio je Josip Milanović, glasnogovornik Nadbiskupijskog centra za pastoral mladih Ivan Pavao II.
U svom govoru Milanović je naglasio kako Centar za mlade Ivan Pavao II. tijekom deset godina postojanja radi na osnaživanju mladih kako u promociji volonterskog djelovanja, tako i u razvijanju njihove svijeti o zaštiti životne sredine. Veliku zahvalnost za suradnju i otvorenost iskazao je i Općini Novi Grad i javnom poduzeću Lokom koji su podržali inicijativnu mladih tijekom razmjene mladih Respect.
U nastavku programa nazočnim se obratio i gosp. Samir Salihović, zamjenik direktora JP Lokom koji je naglasio da se JP Lokom s velikim zadovoljstvom uključuje u projekte i aktivnosti koje rade mladi, gdje zajedničkim snagama mogu raditi na očuvanju okoliša, poručivši da je ovo samo početak uspješne suradnje Centra za mlade Ivan Pavao II. i JP Lokom.
Na samom kraju svečanog otvorenja obnovljenog dječjeg igrališta nazočnim se obratio i gosp. Semir Efendić, načelnik Općine Novi Grad koji je u svom obraćanju kazao kako je sretan što su mladi iz tri zemlje svojim rukama uljepšali i vratili živost dječjem igralištu na prostoru Park- Šume Mojmilo, istaknuvši kako će Općina Novi Grad i budućnosti pružati podršku inicijativama mladih koji brinu o svojoj lokalnoj zajednici. Program svečanog otvorenja obnovljenog dječjeg igrališta zaključen je otkrivanjem ploče koju su predstavnici Albanije, Italije i Bosne i Hercegovine zajedno s gosp. Efendićem svim nazočnim pokazali kao dugotrajni trag na zajedničku suradnju i rad na promociji ekoloških vrijednosti.
Nakon svečanog otvorenja sudionici razmjene mladih zajedno s načelnikom Općine Novi Grad obišli prostor i pogledali i prostor zasađen s više od 1 000 sadnica specifičnih biljaka, te Eko kuću u kojoj su se i osvježili.
Svojim primjerom mladi iz Italije, Bosne i Hercegovine i Albanije pokazali su da još uvijek postoje mladi ljudi koji svojim malim koracima i rukama rade na očuvanju okolišta, te da je samo malo volje potrebno za napraviti veliki stvari za dobro lokalne zajednice.

When little hands are put together, everything is possible – Opening ceremony of the renovated children’s playground at the Park Mojmilo
On Tuesday, August 29th, two days before the ending of the Youth Exchange RESPECT within the project INSIDE! supported by the European Union through the program Erasmus +, was reserved for the opening ceremony of the renovated children’s playground at the Park Mojmilo.
After 10 days of different workshops and concrete working actions at the children’s playground and basketball playground, participants from Italy, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered at the place they transformed by their hands. The spokesman of the Youth Center „John Paul II“, Josip Milanović, at the beginning of the ceremony at the Park, greeted the participants and all the guests.
In his speech, Mr Milanović emphasized the fact that the Youth Center „John Paul II“ for the past ten years of its work was concentrated on youth development promoting the importance of volunteering and the awareness of protecting the environment. Furthermore, in the name of the Youth Center Milanović expressed the great appreciation to the Municipality Novi Grad and to the public company Lokom due to their great support to the activities developed during the Youth Exchange RESPECT.
In the further program of the opening, Mr Samir Salihović, vice director of the public company Lokom said how the Lokom joins such youth projects with great pleasure because working together youngsters can develop the protection of the environment. Mr Salihović is glad that this is only a beginning of the collaboration between the Youth Center „John Paul II“ and the public company Lokom.
Finally, at the end of the opening ceremony, Mr Semir Efendić, the mayor of the Municipality of Novi Grad addressed a few words to youngsters and guests. Mr Efendić was very happy to see how these young persons from three different countries worked together and brought back to life the children’s playground at Mojmilo. He emphasized that the Municipality of Novi Grad will continue with these kinds of collaboration supporting the youth initiatives where the youngsters care about the environment in their local communities. The program ended when the young representatives of the three groups, together with Mr Efendić, revealed the plaque remaining at the Park as a symbol of the long-term collaboration between the partner countries promoting in that way the ecological values and the importance of protecting the environment.
After the opening ceremony ended, youngsters went with the mayor to look around the space they’ve been decorating. In that moment they have visited the forest with 1 000 specific plants and the Eco house where everyone could have a refreshment.
With their examples, youngsters from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and Albania showed that there are still people who intend to work on protecting the environment and they proved how little effort is required to do big things for the well being of a local community.
